Online Risk & Community Awareness Study on Volcanic Activity (Comoros – Remote Research)

Research Clinic Malawi conducted an online research study focused on volcanic activity risks and public awareness in Comoros, using remote data collection methods. The study assessed community understanding of volcanic hazards, information access, disaster preparedness, and perceptions of early warning systems. Using structured online questionnaires and secondary data review, our team generated evidence on public awareness levels and gaps in risk communication. The final report highlighted practical recommendations for strengthening public education, community preparedness strategies, and stakeholder engagement for disaster risk reduction.
